WHY SUTTLE?
Today, Suttle is the world’s largest supplier of high-volume voice and connection
products used by the world’s largest communications companies; our products
can be found in 78% of all homes in the United States. As it was at the beginning,
our focus is quality, standards-compliant product aimed at bringing the best user
experience the carrier can deliver. With our SOHO Access™ structured wiring
products, Suttle solutions cover the customer premise from traditional voice
deployments to integrated communications and entertainment applications.
Suttle provides common features across our product lines which elevate our
equipment above the competition:
- Quality construction, quality materials, superior designs
We start with innovative
engineering, add the highest-quality components, and use an ISO9001/TL9000
certified manufacturing operation to bring Suttle equipment to the world.
- Bellcore and FCC standards compliance
Suttle products are designed around the
demanding technical standards and network reliability of AT&T and the Bell operating
companies. As such, Suttle’s products are designed for compliance with FCC Part 68
and Bellcore standards (where applicable) for safe, reliable use in modern
communications networks.
- UL listing
Suttle products are UL or cULus listed for various applications, from
telephony to fire alarm/security. The UL stamp ensures a level of safety and reliability
above and beyond non-listed product, and is necessary in many scenarios for
compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- 50 microinches of gold at the contact point
All Suttle jack contacts are designed with
50 microinches of gold at the contact point (where a plug’s wires interface with a jack).
The extra gold enhances signal quality and product durability, giving users a clean,
reliable connection on every insertion.
- Corroshield®
Corroshield® corrosion-resistant gel is available on select products. Suttle
engineered the first gel-filled telephony jacks with Tyco to provide additional protection against
corrosion and weather-related damage. Deploying Corroshield® at the customer premise in high
dust or salt environments has shown to reduce truck rolls for corrosion-related failures over time.
- 1-year standard warranty on all products
Suttle products are covered by a one-year warranty
against product failure from the date of purchase. If our product fails before a year due to a
product defect, we’ll replace it.
- 25-year warranty on certified installations
Category 3, Category 5e, Category 6, and fiber
optic products installed by Suttle Certified Installers are warranted against defects in product
and workmanship for 25 years. Contact Suttle for details on our Certified Installer program
and 25-year warranty, as well as how to become certified.
