Data Connecting Blocks
The 97AB includes a switch allowing the user to select either fixed-loss-loop (FLL) or programmed (PROG) operation. Impedance matching is done through an integrated circuit for each loop loss requirement, elminating the need for time consuming insertion of programmed resistors. It may be tuned to one of nine resistor levels in 1dB increments by simply snapping off tabs on the printed circuit board.
